Eat It ALL (The Word)

Devotional Reading: Job 25, Job 26, Job 27, Job 28; Job 29;

Memory Verses: 1 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. 2 My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. Psalm 121:1-2 | And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding. Job 28:28 | After the same manner also [he took] the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink [it], in remembrance of me. I Corinthians 11:25 | 10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:10-11

Additives and preservatives injected to our natural food and water supply change the properties of the food and drink that we consume for our natural bodies. And the preserving power of the Holy Spirit of God, “added” to your natural man (or woman), also changes your properties.

Reading through the book of Job can be difficult. Be careful not to take on a new, sorrowful mentality. If you are trudging through and feel discouraged, skip to the end and read it backward from the last chapter to the first.

For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning. Psalm 30:5

Need to lighten up? Take a chuckle break. Mother said, eat your vegetables. Jesus said, bite me!

JESUS is the living word. Eat this bread daily.

23 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: 24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. 25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. 26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come. I Corinthians 11:23-26

Now, back to work :-).

Don’t make it easy for Satan to sift you as wheat. He is bold enough to not only want to do it, but to also try to make it happen if given the chance. When Jesus told Simon Peter that Satan “desired” to sift him as wheat (Luke 22:31), He did not mean that Satan just thought about maybe possibly giving it a test run, to see if he could maybe possibly get Peter to lose his soul.

Read Luke 22:31, from the Bible in Basic English: Bible in Basic English – Simon, Simon, Satan has made a request to have you, so that he may put you to the test as grain is tested:

Spiritually “testing grain” is forcing you to prove your salt. In this you are faced with diverse temptations. Spiritual weaknesses come floating to the surface when your spirit is knocked down and when your strengths coagulate as they must, to make a more solid believer. These “weaknesses” are skimmed off (lay aside every weight and the sin… (Hebrews 12:1)) if you want to continue growing. Your spirit will grow world-lean and God-fat!

Jesus was letting Simon know that Satan had the audacity to outright ask Jesus if he could tempt Simon to bite the sin bullet. You don’t think he would do that if he could? That’s exactly what he did concerning Job. Satan does not want you to fail. Failure is a learning process that eventually leads to growth if you keep getting up and going forward. What Satan wants is for you to die. But God wants you to (and has given you the power to) withstand all of Satan’s schemes (Ephesians 6:10-11). Make a decision that if Satan tries to bite you, he’s going to break more (of his own self) than his teeth!

If the enemy is trying to sift you as wheat, set your face like flint. If Satan is trying to smash your joy bell, Ring the Gong! Who said you could only have one bell? Who said your tools had to look like your neighbors. God has all kinds of craftsmen and women in his business. Just because you are not a blacksmith does not mean your hats won’t sell. Find your market.

Is the enemy after your love token? Put some passion in your gift – make it yourself. Sentiment does not have to be measured in dollars and cents… you get the idea. Get creative. God has something special for you when you overcome. You can do it. THINK.

Something happens when we get the words of our mouth lined up with the Word of God. Something happens when we get the deeds of our body lined up with the commandments of God. Something happens when our faith gets more than bold by getting “busy” because we put it into action. Something happens when we stop looking at the paycheck and start lifting our eyes to the hills from whence cometh our help, to see the Lord who not only owns the cattle on the hill, but also the hill itself. Something happens when we stop resting our hope on our own understanding and start trusting in the Almighty God who formed the earth and the heavens also – without our help.

Have you ever been perplexed by a food nutrition label with words the human tongue can barely pronounce in a single breath? Have you stood in the market thinking, what is that stuff? Well, the answer is right there… but it’s of no use if we DO NOT GET THE MEANING out of it. Are you still putting that into your body with no filter?
.
Something happens when we read the Holy Spirit nutrition label and it makes sense. If you read the these and thous and that’s not moving your soul, it’s not because there is no power in it. But are you hungry? Get fed. I personally read the King James Version of the Bible most of the time. That’ s because I have gotten used to it since it was the way introduced to me as a child. But when you are hungry and you can not get the nutrients from what you eat, though your belly be filled with weight, you will not be satisfied; you will not be nourished to the full.
.
If you have food available and you are famished and have no cause not to eat, won’t you be satisfied with bread (and eat something)? If you hunger and thirst for righteousness, God will also not send you away starving. You cannot starve in the spirit and hope to feed the world.
Blessed [are] they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Matthew 5:6 KJV | Happy are those whose heart’s desire is for righteousness: for they will have their desire. Matthew 5:6 Bible in Basic English
He saith to him again the second time, Simon, [son] of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep. John 21:16 KJV
Jesus. 100% Juice. There’s nothing fake about that. Get juiced. (I Corinthians 11:25, )
