Reflection

Though the adversary would entice you with, “…if you be a Son of God, do [this or that]”, he is not your master so far as you yield your members (body, mind, soul, talents, all that pertains to you) to God. Thus, do not be commanded by the prince of the world when you are a child of the King of Kings.

Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. Romans 6:16

Decently and in order, confirm the source of leadership in your life (I John 4:1).  And do not be the mule that stops the cart if God IS SPEAKING TO YOU THROUGH someone else.

23 Whatsoever is commanded by the God of heaven, let it be diligently done for the house of the God of heaven: for why should there be wrath against the realm of the king and his sons? 24 Also we certify you, that touching any of the priests and Levites, singers, porters, Nethinims, or ministers of this house of God, it shall not be lawful to impose toll, tribute, or custom, upon them. Ezra 7:23-24
