Topic: Finding Your Purpose – Goal Setting

  • Setting and Writing Your Goals –
    • Emanuel set these goals today:
      • To be an engineer in the future (long term goal)
      • To get good grades to be an Engineer (good grades every school year – long term goal / good grades on each assignment – short term goal)
      • To be able to recite a scripture from memory (short – term goal)
      • To try to make one person smile everyday
    • I set these goals today:
      • To be a good mother every day.
      • To do well on my job.
      • To graduate Lambda School.
      • To land my dream job, working for Automattic (the makers of WordPress).



  • Purpose. Noun. The reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists.
  • Therapy. Noun. Treatment intended to relieve or heal a disorder.
  • Repetition. Noun. The action of repeating something that has already been said or written.

Scripture Memory

  • “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Philippians 4:13
  • You are a chosen vessel – John 15:16 – “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.”
