For about 2 weeks, the enemy has been threatening me with all sorts of doom and gloom. Meanwhile, God has been speaking to my heart the words of Philippians 1:6 – and it is written…
“Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.”
About a week ago, I walked into my room and there was a single, small slip of paper on the floor. Thereon was written word from Philippians 1:6. Tonight while viewing a live event online, my internet cut out before I could log into the second session. I know now that it was just another ploy of the enemy to keep me from a word of hope.
After some divine ideas (a literal download from heaven for what to do), I was able to connect to the session. I was able to hear a speaker say, “I believe…” then, you guessed it, the words of Philippians 1:6 that God will perform everything He has purposed in his heart to do – that great work that He shall perform in you. These words have been churning in my while I go through this valley.
The enemy does not know your future exactly, but he sees potential and patterns and themes common to the hands and feet of Jesus (believers). That is why he is fighting angels to hold up your blessing and your deliverance and your breakthrough – because he knows that your influence is on the line. Your anointing is about to be poured out like oil and he has PTSD about anointed oil – because is bears out the witness of the Holy Spirit.
For everything we have gone through and now face, the enemy means it for bad, but I decree and I declare that God is working it out for the good of we who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Just because you are not the world’s standard, but the LORD’S banner, the enemy is trying to make an example of you. Because he works in the fear factor. But God has not given us the spirit of fear – but of power and of love and a sound mind.
Hold on. A city on a hill cannot be hid.
