Morning Greeting

Good Morning Father! Good morning friends! I am currently reading 30 Days of Unlimited Grace: Daily Prayer Devotional by Unlimited Grace Ministries (Bryan Chapell). This is day 10.

Sanctuary – Grover Levy

Morning Prayer

Recently, we learned the pattern of The Lord’s Prayer as it is written in Matthew 6:9-13. Read the following prayer.

Abba, Father, you are full of grace! Thank you for being my Prince of Peace. You are the only wise God, may Savior. Let your plan be established over all the earth. I surrender my life to you. Be the head of my spirit and my family. I trust you to be my provider. I look to you. I repent of any and everything that has drawn my heart away from you. Restore me by your grace. Cleanse me of all unrighteousness. I remit the sins of everyone who has hurt me. Let it not be laid to their charge, but let them find grace in your sight and forgiveness. I know that temptation is only the enemy’s work. Renew mind that I will not follow another voice because you are my Shepherd. Now LORD, show forth your grace and power for you are the King above all kings and omnipotence belongs only to you. Be glorified in my life today and forever more. AMEN.

Practice praying according to the blueprint Jesus left for His family.

Bible Basis

10Luke2231-32Grace For Faith

When I was in college, I was broken and desperate. I found myself looking for love in all the wrong places. After some time, I gained a roommate who was by all intents and purposes, a missionary. She gave me a CD by Grover Levy. It included the song “Sanctuary“. It says, “I spent a lifetime searching for a sanctuary…” It re-surfaced memories of how I used to run to the literal sanctuary when I needed to connect with God. Because of faithfulness, I had been given keys to my church at that time. I would open the doors and close them behind me, and have worship service with just myself and God. I sang songs until I felt His presence and cried there.

Levy sings, “Oh once I thought that I was drowning in a wake of all my doubt….” That was my testimony. I was drowning in a wake of all my infidelities and sins against my first love – Christ. These wrongs planted doubts in my heart, doubts that made me shy instead of bold in God’s presence. As a teenager, I just wanted to become a Nun and spend every day in the WORD serving God. But my past made me feel dirty and I let the enemy tell me that I was not worthy to serve God at a high level.

If you find yourself thinking often of how “bad” you are. That is not from God. It is the enemy who seeks to condemn you and make you believe that you are unworthy of grace. God wants to restore you to right relationship with Him. If you need a sanctuary to surround yourself with God’s presence, you are the sanctuary. Worship and praise God from heart and He will come in to the atmosphere. Let His sanctuary rescue your heart.

2 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. 12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. 13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. Romans 8:1-14
