Morning Prayer

The following prayer comes from today’s reading in 30 Days of Unlimited Grace: Daily Prayer Devotional by Unlimited Grace Ministries (Bryan Chapell).

Father, I know I can have confidence in you in the midst of all of life’s circumstances, because you love me and use everything to accomplish your good goals. Help me to trust you no matter what I face today.

Bible Basis

12Romans828Grace For Favor

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 KJV

And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose. Romans 8:28 AMP

Have you been following this study all week? Are you just joining in today? I decree and declare that you are blessed and highly favored! Did you know that only those whom God draws can come to Him? If you are reading this, you have intersected a divine path. There is something that he Holy Spirit wants to impart to you. If you feel the unction to learn more about God and His will for your life, you are called according to His purpose. That does mean that you have to be a pastor. You might be. Being called means that God has something for you to do – and different people may have different callings under the banner of showing God’s love; and to all who are called and love God, all things work together for good.

This is the message to me this morning (how can you apply this to your life?) – Faith comes by hearing. If you want to increase your faith in God, you need to hear the WORD of God. Faith is not restricted to religion. Your spirit listens to whatever you are exposed to. This means that what you believe will manifest in your life, is the topics you are “hearing” the most. If you constantly listen to music about lost love and broken heartedness, your spirit predominantly hears negativity and your “faith” is in loss and brokenness. This may sound strange that you have “faith” in something detrimental. To understand this concept further, consider the meaning of faith.

Hebrews 11:1 defines faith:

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1 KJV

Faith guides your hope. What you hope for determines your actions. Hope is something you can change. You can tell your heart what to hope for by what you put your faith in. Faith is the evidence that what you hope for is already completed in your life. If your faith is in something negative, you have created evidence in your life of negative experience. The way you view the world will be clouded by the “evidence” in your spirit. To be sure your hope is guided by Christ and your faith is in life and not death, your spirit must have access to the living WORD.

14 But how will people call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how will they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher (messenger)? 15 And how will they preach unless they are commissioned and sent [for that purpose]? Just as it is written and forever remains written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news of good things!” 16 But they did not all pay attention to the good news [of salvation]; for Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our report?” 17 So faith comes from hearing [what is told], and what is heard comes by the [preaching of the] message concerning Christ. Romans 10:14-17 AMP

Refresh The Page & Download God’s Faith Podcast

CCM Magazine wrote that Moses was “…the first man to download files from the cloud using a tablet.”

So True! I said, “The Holy Spirit was the first WiFi!”

If your Spirit does not hear the WORD, growing faith will be a struggle. How can you take the reins of your faith? Refresh your spirit page and download God’s faith podcast. It is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

If you think in terms of an internet browser, the result of refreshing is a reload of data and images. Even if you are seeing the images or reading text for the first time, they were there (or called by an external function) before you experienced them. Refreshing the page spiritually, is resetting your thought process. The purpose is to reload the data from God’s own server.

Each of your experiences is stored in God’s master plan. While you may not recall every day from birth unto this moment, God knows every second you have ever lived – from the moment you were conceived (Jeremiah 1:5). What’s more, He holds your future.

There is no RDA on renewing your mind. It is not a daily vitamin. You can not max-out on synchronizing your mind with Christ. When you feel mentally drained, restore vitality by centering your thought process on the mind of Christ (Philippians 2:5).

Now that your mind is renewed, install a good anti-virus program to guard your mind from doubt. There is no shortage of testimony where God’s victory is concerned. So while you are waiting, download God’s faith podcast for doubt-spam blockers. His faith podcast is available in two formats: audio and transcript. God’s audio faith podcast includes: praise and worship music and audios of books and testimonies. God’s faith podcast transcripts include: The Holy Bible; letters from missionaries, blogs on His goodness, and even this page.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Philippians 4:8
