The WiSeekU Biblical Foundations Department offers a general diploma, Associate of Science, Bachelor of Science, Master’s Degree, and a Doctor of Theology, each based on the Biblical Foundations curriculum. The Biblical Wisdom Keepers program is an extension of the WiSeekU Biblical Foundations curriculum.

Courses explore the authors’ purposes in writing, expound the employed methodologies, and highlight spiritual and historical influences of the texts. The purpose of the exegetical curriculum is not to debate any denominational perspectives, nor to argue the validity of the texts as to their source and authority. The goal is “That people may know skillful and godly Wisdom and instruction, [and] discern and comprehend the words of understanding and insight,” (Proverbs 1:2 AMP).

Hermeneutic Philosophy

The custodial “church” to which the Holy Scriptures are endowed is not any one religious organization; and is rather the spiritual body of Christ (Romans 12:5, 1 Corinthians 12:27). Thus people of faith are the entrusted church. The responsibility and promise of the Word cannot be monopolized by the clergy, laity or any organization. If any one lacks wisdom, he or she may ask of God; and a vocation of all believers is to both study and exemplify (perform and teach) the truth.

The instruction to study as presented in II Timothy 2:15 is expressly open to the entire body of faith and to the non-believer, as knowledge and understanding and indeed belief is in part a function of observation. Thus clergy, laity and the general student can benefit from a strong foundational Bible knowledge.
