12th Hebrews Chapter 1 Chapter 4 Radical F.A.I.T.H.

Memory Verse: Hebrews 4:14 AMP

14 Inasmuch then as we [believers] have a great High Priest who has [already ascended and] passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession [of faith and cling tenaciously to our absolute trust in Him as Savior].

TESTIMONY

My Mother and I were determined to get to my brother’s graduation in Georgia. We were driving from Iowa in an old and old-fashioned can with the door handles falling off and the tires thread-bare. We had about thirty dollars for gas roundtrip.

Now obviously you can ‘t just drive from Iowa to Georgia and back to Iowa on thirty dollars; but that is radical faith. When you have radical faith, the facts son’s don’t matter. We believed that somehow, some way, we would accomplish what we two had touched and agreed upon.

When we would have run out of gas, I cAlled my dad. I told him what my mom and were doing. He said, “That’s radical.” He aired us some money for gas.

Half way to to Georgia, a great storm of rain came down. A When the rain was blinding, we pulled over into a gas station to let the storm pass. No sooner than we were parked, a lightning bolt struck right in front of our van. We took it as a sign that we were not supposed to stay there. We said, ok LORD we will get back on the road.

We cautiously left the gas station and continued on our journey. We made it out of the storm. We later learned that the place where we had stopped flooded badly. Had we waited out the storm, we would have been stuck there and missed the graduation.

When we arrived in Georgia, or family could not believe that we had come so far because our tires were bald with no tread at all we should have had multiple blowouts. The next thing we knew, our family bought four new tires for the van so we could get back home. Now that is radical. We needed the tires before starting the trip; but radical faith said if I have to go without what I want, I know that GOD will supply all my needs according to His riches in glory.

ILLUMINATION

Radical faith moves you into the next dimension where reality is redefined. When logic says you can’t do that, radical faith says I can do all things through Christ which strengthened me.

When it looks hopeless, radical faith keeps moving Forward As I Trust Him.
