The TENTH Devotional Journal, Day 1
LORD, I Am Available To You
Day 1 – Running Praise continued…
1.3b
If I spend five hours a day, six days a week, listening to seven songs that tell me every man is no good and every woman wants his money and making it rain is not from the clouds on crops in a dry place, what do you think will be brought to my remembrance (John 14:26) in a crisis or if I need a WORD of encouragement?
We have to remember that everything in our dominion is a tool. (BTW, God gave people dominion over everything, not everyone.) How we use our tools makes all the difference in our lives, our families, our communities, and our world. Not every song is a good tool of praise. How can you know the difference? Good tools of praise lead to worship. This is the progression that welcomes the atmosphere of God’s glory.
9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light; 1 Peter 2:9
