20th I Chronicles Chapter 27 Chapter 29 Speak To My Heart, Lord

To meditate on the word means more than to be quiet. Meditation literally means to mumble to yourself. Speaking the truth of God to yourself helps to program your super-computer. Read the Word aloud to yourself. Read the conversations of Christ aloud. What have you been seeking the Lord for? What have you been thanking Him for? Meditate on the Word of God. Do you “hear” the Lord’s voice?

And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever. 10Take heed now; for the LORD hath chosen thee to build an house for the sanctuary: be strong, and do it. I Chronicles 28:9-10

How great a wonder is the realization that an Almighty God is concerned by what concerns you. And that He speaks today, “Be of Good Courage.” The Lord is in this place. Stand still and see the Salvation of the Lord.

19All this, said David, the LORD made me understand in writing by his hand upon me, evenall the works of this pattern. 20And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do it: fear not, nor be dismayed: for the LORD God, even my God, will be with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee, until thou hast finished all the work for the service of the house of the LORD. 21And, behold, the courses of the priests and the Levites, even they shall be with thee for all the service of the house of God: and there shall be with thee for all manner of workmanship every willing skilful man, for any manner of service: also the princes and all the people will be wholly at thy commandment.

If today you hear his voice, do not harden your heart (Psalm 95:8). There is a blessing, like music in the air tonight. Tonight, some soul will be returning to the first love, Jesus Christ. Let the redeemed of the Lord, say so. For this day ye shall have whatsoever you say. Speak over yourself the Word of God; and receive the gift of the Almighty. He wants to speak to your heart.

But thou, O LORD, [art] a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. Psalm 3:3
