25th I Kings Chapter 10 Chapter 11  It’s Going To Be Alright

Memory Verse: And the LORD said unto him, I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication, that thou hast made before me: I have hallowed this house, which thou hast built, to put my name there for ever; and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually. I Kings 9:3 KJV

The word of the Lord came to me saying,

I can hear you, even though your words are few, when you call me. I can see you. You think that I don’t know the tears you cry: a fountain never dry. You did not know my voice? Remember the still small voice.

You call me. You come looking for an answer to questions in your soul that you’ve had for so long. Did you think that I just did not care to know the war you fight: a battle for your soul? You did not know my voice? Remember the still small voice. Yes child, that was me. I said, it is going to be alright.

Excerpt from The Still Small Voice

Remember that God hears your call, even if with a contrite spirit you are not able to utter many words. It is not our prolonged speech, but our sincerity of heart that moves Him. If we are not careful, we can miss His gentle voice amongst the chatter and shouts of everything vying for our attention.

11 And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the LORD. And, behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the LORD was not in the earthquake: 12 And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice. I Kings 19:11 – 12 KJV
