Memory Verse: Therefore I have not sinned against thee, but thou doest me wrong to war against me: the LORD the Judge be judge this day between the children of Israel and the children of Ammon. Judges 11:27 KJV
God knows the intention of every heart. Though He calls us to be peacemakers (Matthew 5:9), some people like to stir up trouble. When you stand for God, he will not allow you to fall for everything. You can seek His way such that He will even give you an answer for those who accuse you falsely.
Satan’s goal is to cast you from the fellowship of a church or other family. He believes that in isolating you, you will forget that your maker is God. This tactic has worked on many fallen.
Remember that just because the enemy wants you out of fellowship with God, does mean he has any grounds to make such a request. Do not relinquish your inheritance because the enemy says so. Who is Satan that he may command Zion?
I declare, the name of the Lord is a strong tower. The righteous run into it and they are safe.
31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: 32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren. Luke 22:31 KJV
When the Lord said, Stand still and see His salvation… That means do not fret over evildoers, for the God of all creation is not slack concerning His promises. There is nothing too hard for God.
He is able to present you “faultless” before the presence of His glory. He is the only wise God. There is nothing too hard for Him. There is no place He can not enter. The enemy may try to katy-bar the door. But Jesus said, I have the keys to hell and death. He also is the only door to heaven. And when you walk through Him, you don’t need any keys. Cause you have the bridegroom. And the everlasting doors open up to Him of their own accord.
Stand still with Jesus. That does not mean do nothing. It means do have faith. Do what God asked you to do. Do be a witness us to Him. Do be faithful. Do be encouraged. Do serve the Lord with gladness. Do come before His presence with thanksgiving. Do know that the Lord, He is God. It is He that hath made us and not we ourselves. Do declare that ye are His people. Do know that you are the sheep of His pasture. Do believe that the Lord who began a good work in you, He is able to bring it to completion. Do understand that He did not bring you this far to leave you. Do walk in the spirit, because the Comforter has come. Do stand still, and hold up the banner of Christ. He said, If I be lifted up from the earth, I will draw all men unto me (John 12:32).
