What is W.W.J.T.?
.
W.W.J.T. – What Would Jesus Text? is a teen outreach project of Graham Global Ministries using the mobile network to share the wisdom of God in the words of youth and teens. How many texts does your teen send each day? How many do you send?
How it works:
- Ask teens what they think Jesus would text. (If you are teen, ask yourself.)
- Encourage teens to visit http://grahamglobal.org/wwjt, or use the comment form at the current week’s WWJT post, to submit their response. (if you are teen, tell us yours!)
- One topic is chosen each week. Winning idea submitter will be contacted for photos if available (if not, we’ll get one). The photo of the week is posted here – the WWJT photo of the week.
- Take a picture of the WWJT photo of the week and IM it to your friends with the header “WWJT and photo topic.Example:
Support WWJT teens for Christ: IM a picture of the WWJT photo of the week in this article with the subject: “WWJT: Don’t text and drive.” If you’re a real texting pro, you could add the URL to this article.
- When someone asks, “What is WWJT?” – Share the current week’s WWJT post. Share your testimony. Share the Good News!

What do you think Jesus would text?

When we consider that faith itself has no shape, we see it is not built for the conceptual box that some would confine it to. Religion survives partly because of visionary leaders who understand the importance of reaching people where they are. Sure there are some things that Christ would not condone in the name of “evangelism.” Still, when Jesus said to have faith like a mustard seed, He did not mean for it to be almost invisible. In the information age, IM is the new grapevine. Have you heard?
